The fox is a symbol of rugby league supremacy – the Fox Memorial Premiership. The crow is a symbol of cricket supremacy – The Jeff Crowe Cup. Together they are The Fox and the Crow – a blog focused on rugby league in winter and cricket in summer.
The Fox and the Crow is also an Aesop’s fable that shows us the folly of listening to flattery.
Like the fox, this blog will go where it pleases and say what it pleases.
Unlike the crow, flattery will get you nowhere.
